The only trouble I had was getting the cake out of the pan the first go around because it kept sticking. Plain old crisco doesn't work. To get the cake out easily make sure to use a lot of crisco, flour and stick it in the freezer for a few hours. The cake mold pan itself is very detailed and once the cake came out the second go around, it looked very nice!
